More of a pilgrimage than a holiday. You have made it all so magical for us and the children. We want to thank you for the best week ever and pray we can return next summer.

Thank you for yet another lovely holiday. We’ve all had the loveliest time. The children have loved all the fab activities – all thought out and appealing to each one. Thank you for being such attentive hosts. It’s been another really restful holiday – hard to say with 3 children but it has been that restful. We hope to come back next summer.

Another lovely holiday at Artagnan. It was restful which I didn’t think was possible with three children of five and under. Tim and Razia were so helpful, the children adored spending time with them. The pool and house were so lovely, so well equipped, we loved it and will be back next year- thank you for such a restful break

What a perfect place for a real holiday for young and old. Granny had a truly memorable 75th birthday thanks to Razia and the sous-chefs. Everything in the house is perfectly chosen and we all appreciated the beautifully thought out care for the young folk, plus the opportunity for Townies to meet chickens, sheep & fish and tractors. Thank you

We have recently returned home from a simply superb two week stay at Artagnan in late August.

The house is spacious and extremely well equipped – there appears to be (often two of) everything parents will need while away with the kids and there are plenty of toys, games, books and ride-ons for the little ones as well as the private pool and play park.

The owners Tim and Razia were incredibly helpful and thoughtful during our stay and really went above and beyond to ensure our holiday was as enjoyable, comfortable and stress-free as possible. Our children (9 and 5) looked forward to spending time with them most days, when they would look after the animals, play games, spot insects and other wildlife, or cook up something tasty in the kitchen.  We also made the most of the two local chefs (one targeted at vegetarians and the other providing more traditional French cuisine) who delivered to the house.  The food was delicious and this took the hassle out of meal times.

My wife said it was the most relaxing holiday she has ever had and we are already talking about returning.  I could not recommend Artagnan enough to anyone with a young family, who is looking for a relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings.

Top tip – look out for the incredible sunrises which can best be viewed by the pool early in the morning (hot chocolate and croissants optional), or enjoy some stargazing with the naked eye at night.  You and your children will never forget it!
